  1. haven’t gotten around to round 2 yet, as promised. however, the real reason for these lists is to give us a different look at the things we do, patterns and such. here’s a few observations from these lists:
    1) half of our most used songs in 2008 were also introduced in 2008. what does that say about our song rotation?
    2) we’ve gotten away from 2 groups of songs: classic hymns and our own our original songs. are we doing these other songs because we love them or we feel we’ve got to keep up with what’s out there?
    3) this may be obvious, but the frequency of our specials drastically decrease when we’re in sermon series that follows a book of the bible (we’re in a year long study of Acts right now). if these elements are important to us, it’s going to take more work to include them and make them meaningful.
